Today is the Thursday before we leave for Outdoor Ed. It's hard to believe that next week at his time, we will be away from cell phone towers and our parents! We will be completely isolated with just our friends and teachers!
At Estes Park, I think I will:
Hear: Lots of animal noises, including howling wolves, elk calling, and lots of sounds of kids having fun and laughing. See: Things that I wouldn't normally see here, including things that wouldn't be as much fun to learn about in just a classroom.
Smell:Campfires, elk poop, food cooking, fresh air, and whatever other smells the mountain may hold.
Taste: The food that we are prepared, mountain rain, maybe snow.
Touch: Whatever we are required to touch at Rocky Mountain National Park.
Well, this is what I think Outdoor Ed. will be like.
